Ordering & Returns
Pool Cover Center Customer Care is available to take your call or e-mail regarding our products and pool care Monday thru Friday (except major holidays), between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. EST.
There is no evidence that the virus that causes COVID-19 can be spread to people through the water in pools, hot tubs, spas, or water play areas. Proper operation and maintenance (including disinfection with chlorine & bromine) of these facilities should inactivate the virus in the water.
While there is ongoing community spread of COVID-19 of the virus that causes COVID-19, it is important for individuals as well as owners and operators of these facilities to take steps to ensure health and safety:
- Everyone should follow local and state guidance that may determine when and how recreational water facilities may operate.
- Individuals should continue to protect themselves and others at recreational water venues both in and out of the water – for example, by practicing social distancing and good hand hygiene.
- In addition to ensuring water safety and quality, owners and operators of community pools, hot tubs, spas, and water play areas should follow the interim guidance for businesses and employers for cleaning and disinfecting their community facilities.
In the event you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 14 days of the receipt of your order, provided that the item is unopened, clean and in resalable condition. To receive a refund all return requests must be initiated by calling our Customer Care Center. A Return of Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will be issued and must be clearly visible on the return package. The return shipping cost is the responsibility of the original purchaser and the small handling fee will be deducted from the refund amount. Returns without an RMA will result in your credit for that order being delayed or denied. Please allow 21 business days from the date you return your package for your refund to be credited to your original form of payment.
*Please note that not all items may be returned. These items include: opened or used solar and winter covers, stock safety covers, custom safety covers, drop ship items (items not stocked) and winterizing chemicals.
DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ORDERS
Occasionally, an order may be received damaged in transit or may be defective in nature. If this should occur, please report the incidence to a Customer Care Representative within 24 hours of receipt of the item. We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) for the damaged/defective goods and issue a UPS call tag. Once the returned order is inspected and deemed damaged or defective a replacement will be sent out immediately.
We will gladly cancel any orders or back orders that have not already been shipped. Custom Orders (orders made exclusively for the purchaser) may be cancelled as long as the manufacturer has not begun production on that order and drop ship orders (orders shipped directly from the supplier) may be cancelled provided that the order has not left the supplier's warehouse.
Orders being shipped to the following states will be charged State Tax: Arkansas, Arizona*, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois*, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts*, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Nebraska*, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma*, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Vermont, Wisconsin, and West Virginia.
*States that do not require tax on the handling fee.
